Any decent landlords out there in the Christchurch/Mudeford area?
Looking for someone who would be happy to let their spare room at a fair price in a house or a bungalow. Furnished or unfurnished. Short term: minimum 2 months. Long term: minimum 1 year.
Ideally I would like to live with a live-in landlord who is good-humoured, clean, quiet, relaxed, laid-back, has an understanding of respecting someone's privacy and isn't clinically bored too much but likes to do his own things and knows how to keep himself busy. I do like to have my own little space in my room and have total independence.
It has to be someone who isn't vulnerable: either goes out to work or furloughed or works from home etc. Someone who can cope with the virus situation, in general, but sensibly follows the Covid19 rules.
I am very domesticated and would be more than happy to help with the housework or decorating the place as I love interior design. One of my hobbies is gardening, I have plants and it would be amazing if there was a garden that I could also use.
About me: female, professional (currently working in 2 part-time jobs on a flexible basis), friendly, smart, intelligent, a great conversationalist and good companion. However, I tend to be very quiet, reserved and l keep to my bedroom most of the time - unless my company is needed. I have a lot of interest and work on various creative projects in my spare time. I am an artistic, articulate intellectual with the love of the different arts and languages.
All I am looking for is a decent place where I can be in a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere to do my own things - mostly online. Peace and quite are rather important to me - due to my Tinnitus. For the same reason, I never listen to loud music and I prefer using earphones anyway. Silence also helps my creativity and concentration.
If I could live with someone who could also become a good friend to me and so we could converse about a wide range of interesting topics, it would be even better.
I don't need TV, but only a broadband as I only watch the occasional movie on my laptop. I like to cook simple meals in bulk, then have portions to eat for days in the fridge/freezer. I am used to eating leftovers. I don't really need access to most of the communal areas, I don't need the lounge, because I will be happy in my room. I tend to get out of the landlord's way when I am at home and let him get on with his own life without all the burdens of this feeling of having to share with someone. I do like to have a bath from time to time because it helps me to relax and sleep better. Don't worry, I don't fill up the bath. So I would use about the same amount of water as if I was taking a shower. I had to put in this bit in about the bath situation because nowadays a lot of places only seem to have a shower room.
I can guarantee that I am not a noisy person. Non-smoker, non-drinker and no visitors. The quieter, the better :)
If you want a completely no-hassle and respectful lodger, I am probably your best match.
Price is negotiable. Move-in date is flexible as I am in temporary accommodation, waiting and hoping to move back to my beloved Christchurch very soon. The sooner, the better!
Please, give me a chance for a fresh start in Christchurch.
